Shivakumar V is a dedicated professional with over 26 years of driving experience, having begun his career in 1998. Over the years, he has driven a wide range of vehicles—including buses, autos, cars, and lorries—giving him a deep understanding of the challenges, responsibilities, and realities faced by drivers across Karnataka. Born and brought up in Nagashettihalli, Shivakumar’s roots are grounded in simplicity, discipline, and hard work. He completed his education at the renowned Siddaganga Matha in Tumakuru, an institution known for shaping individuals with strong values and social responsibility. These early teachings built in him a sense of commitment toward community welfare. Throughout his long driving career, Shivakumar has witnessed the struggles of drivers—from financial insecurity and lack of recognition to limited access to support systems. Motivated to make a positive change, he founded the Karnataka Vahana Chalakara Seva Samithe, an initiative aimed at the upliftment of drivers and their families.
